Bridge Divides: linking the inner city, the countryside, and the source of our food, and linking Londoners to one another.
Promote good physical and mental health: volunteering programmes support wellbeing with a noted effect on the mild anxiety and depression that so many experience.
Give everyone a chance to contribute to civil society: Supported volunteering programmes offer a wide range of opportunities for people of all skills and abilities.
Educate: School visits, college placements, and public engagement open horizons to farming, heritage, traditional crafts, healthy food, and how to protect and enjoy our natural world.
Grow: Farms provide space and support for community food-growing. Farms embody the best of British food with high standards of taste, nutrition, sustainability, and animal welfare.
Are fun! Farms are welcoming, safe places for adventurous children and young people, schools, young families, and everyone else too.
