On Thursday the 12th of October the London Association was invited to the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists Harvest Service and lunch.
It was a wonderful event that began at St Brides Church – Fleet Street with a harvest service that featured a display of produce all grown at London Farms.
This was followed by a reception and dinner at Stationers’ Hall in the City of London.
Representing the London Association, Chris Pounds, Gemma Hooper and Rob Gayler were invited to speak to the collected Guild on the activities and impact that city farms and community gardens make in London. Throughout the afternoon this spurred some great discussions with the journalists and media professionals attending.
